Float Flat Sheet Panel Borosilicate Glass 3.3 Panes

Overview

Unparalleled Safety Functional And Technical Specialty Sheet Panel Borosilicate Float Glass 3.3

Borosilicate glass is a silicate-based glass made by float glass process. Chemical composition of this flat sheet panel floated borosilicate glass is different from ordinary soda-lime float glass. It is produced by molten glass floating and spreading over on melted liquid tin bath. Continuous glass ribbon is formed and is finally annealed and cooled down to the form of solid glass flat panel.

It is usually known as borosilicate glass 3.3 because its coefficient of thermal expansion is about 3.3x10-6 K-1.

Characteristics of 33 borosilicate float glass, due to special formulated ingredients and melting technique, surpass soda lime glass in all aspects. Exceptionally thermal stability, stronger mechanical strengthen, lighter weight and higher transparency are only parts of its numerous advantages. The versatility and flexibility of the glass result in unlimited applications for both commercials and industrials.
