Brief Description

This Machine is designed for grinding and polishing a bevel edge, with bottom pencil edge grinding.

Motors that move in parallel adapt to different glass thickness drive the front beam, with digital readout on control panel.

A control system adopts a Mitsubishi PLC control unit, which has automatic and manual control functions, used for setting parameters. The operator can preset the thickness of glass to be processed, the remaining thickness after grinding, and the width and angle of bevel edge.

Working speed is adjustable through a steeples reducer, meeting the demands for different size and thickness of glass.

Amp meters allow you to check the wheel absorption and therefore it’s correct functioning.
Spindles use drag plate structures, which eliminates vibration while working.

All spindles use high quality precision ABB motors

Input and output conveyor uses a timing belt, which improve the transmission of glass.

Polishing wheels use pneumatic cylinder for smooth engagement of glass and even polish.

Manual oil supply system is equipped with machine for good lubrication conditions.

Technical Specification

This machine is used for rough and fine grinding and polishing bevel edge of flat glass, as well as the grinding of bottoms. It adopts chainless roll transmit plate to transfer glass, with stable transmission and high grinding precision. The rear transmitting plate is equipped with automatic cleaning device, and can grind rear-transmitting plate by itself to keep high precision for a long time. Auto and manual oil supply system is equipped to guarantee machine working under a good lubrication condition to increase the stability. PLC and HMI are adopted for control and display, operator can preset the thickness of glass to be processed, the remained thickness after grinding and the width of beveling edge.
