Measure Method

Size & Thickness

Using 1 mm as min scale steel ruler or steel tapeline to measure size; thickness measured by micrometer or instrument that has the same precision with micrometer, measuring center of four edges, the result show in average of four center value, value has keep one decimal fraction.

Appearance

Under nicer light or dispersion ray, inspecting the aim distance obverse glass surface 600mm by eye.

Fire Resistant

Put the whole glass into fixed frame, then carrying on testing according with GB-12573, fire resistant glass suffer the fire height of size is more than 1100mm, width is not less than 600mm, sample should be install vertically.

In testing, the fixed frame and installed method should be the same with actual engineering configuration, meanwhile, need to note the fixed frame and installed method in drawing or the other way to record.

Curve Degree

Let glass vertical, then horizontally put ruler to measure arc, showing in percent that is height of arc compare with length of string; when measuring wave shape, the data showing in percent which is proportion from the distance trough to wave crest or the distance trough to trough.

Transmittance

Testing is accord to GB/T 2680-1994.

Heat-Resistant Of Laminated Fireproof Glass

Using three pieces of 300 x 300mm glass as sample for testing, the samples should be vertically put more than 6 hours in normal temperature, then checking appearance and note disfigurement in detail.

Put samples in constant temperature box, and take out after keep in 50oC + 2oC constant temperature for 6 hours.

After take out samples, vertically put in normal temperature more than 6 hours, inspecting its appearance quality and transmittance.

After tested, those three pieces of samples appearance quality are all according with ruler is qualified, if one piece of samples is unqualified, the other samples are qualified, then need to fetch three new pieces of samples to test again, until three pieces of glass are all qualified.

Cold-Resistant Of Laminated Fireproof Glass

Using three pieces of 300 x 300mm glass as sample for testing, the samples should be vertically put more than 6 hours in normal temperature, checking appearance and note disfigurement in detail.

Put samples in low temperature box, and take out after keep in -20oC constant temperature for 6 hours.

After take out samples, vertically put in normal temperature more than 6 hours, inspecting its appearance quality and transmittance.

After testing, those three pieces of samples appearance quality are all according with ruler is qualified, if one piece of samples is unqualified, the other samples are qualified, then need to fetch three new pieces of samples to test again, until three pieces of glass are qualified.

Anti-Radiation Of Laminated Fireproof Glass

Get three pieces of glass, and test as per the point 5 of GB/T 5137.3 - 1999 way. After inspected, those three pieces of samples appearance quality are all according with ruler is qualified, if one piece of samples is unqualified, the other samples are qualified, then need to fetch three new pieces of samples to test again, until three pieces of glass are qualified.

5 - Sample

Samples are six pieces of 610 x 610mm glass. It should be kept at 23oC + 5oC for 4 hours, then immediately carry on testing.

Let samples put at frame which is showing at drawing 1, when fire resistant glass is different with original glass, it should let thin surface turn up toward impact substance.

Using steel ball weigh 1040g + 10g, with smooth surface. The height of laying is above samples 1000mm, from stillness condition, not add any outside force, let steel ball do free falling. Inspect its breakage state at the center of samples in range of 25 mm, each piece of glass can only be impact at one time.

After tested, in six samples, if five samples are fit for standard is calling qualified, if three samples or less than three samples are fit for standard is calling unqualified. When four samples are qualified, then need to fetch six new pieces of samples to test again, until six pieces of glass are qualified is calling eligibility.
