Configuration
Laminated fire resistant glass (FFB) - it is composed of two pieces or more than two pieces glass, or made up of one piece and organic material laminated, and satisfy with relevant fire resistant grade request of special glass.
Monolithic fire resistant glass (DFB) - it is composed of monolithic piece of glass, which satisfies with relevant fire resistant grade request of special glass.
Characteristic
Class A fire resistant glass: satisfy with Integrity of fire-resistant and insulating of fire-resistant request of special glass at same time.
Class B fire resistant glass: satisfy with Integrity of fire-resistant and Irradiance request of special glass at same time.
Class C fire resistant glass: satisfy with Integrity of fire-resistant request of special glass.
These three classes of fire resistant glass is graded according with fire-resistant as following: GradeⅠ, Grade Ⅱ, Grade Ⅲ, Grade Ⅳ.

Original Glass Request
It can use normal flat glass, float glass, tempered glass etc as original glass to make fire resistant glass, laminated fire resistant glass also can choose monolithic fire resistant glass as original glass. Original glass should be accord with GB4871, GB11614, GB/T 9963 etc relevant standard and this standard corresponding clause rule.
Tolerances Of Size & Thickness
Inspecting of, laminated fire resistant glass size and thickness allowance tolerance should be accord with Table 2 prescribed.

Appearance
Inspecting of laminated fire resistant glass appearance quality should be accord with Table 4 prescribed. The bubble and impurity in bonding during peripheral 15 mm are not considered.

Monolithic fire resistant glass transmittance should be come to an agreement by two parties.
Heat-Resistant
Inspecting of appearance quality should be fit for Table 4. Transmittance should be fit for Table 9.
Cold-Resistant
Inspecting of appearance quality should be fit for Table 4. Transmittance should be fit for Table 9.
Anti-UV
When laminated fire resistant glass use in architecture day lighting field, it should consider its anti-ultraviolet radiation characteristic.
Inspecting according with GB/T 5137-3, after tested, samples will be not appear obvious changing color, bubble and cloudy, meanwhile, fire resistant glass light transmission decrease rate is not more than 10%, please check below formula,
(a - b)/a x 100% ≤10%
a - light transmittance before ultraviolet radiation irradiating
b - light transmittance after ultraviolet radiation irradiated
Mechanics Performance
Impact Resistant Of Laminated Fire Resistant Glass
Inspecting of samples should satisfy with one of below standards
- Glass does not break
- If glass is broke, steel ball does not penetrate glass.
Impact Resistant Of Monolithic Fire Resistant Glass
Inspecting of samples is not broken.
Fragment State Of Monolithic Fire Resistant Glass
After tested, the fragment of each 50 x 50mm sample should be more than 40 pieces; fragment crossing the borderline is counted as half piece. Allowing few oblong fragments exist, but the length should be less than 75mm, and two ends should not be shape; the inclined angle of rectangle fragment extending to the edge of glass should not be more than 45o.
